Edward Day

Ed has recently joined MRS Property as Chief Executive Officer, working closely with the Executive Team to ensure MRS and Harmony continue to thrive, delivering outstanding outcomes for investors and clients.

Ed brings a unique skillset of commercial acumen and analytical skills, as well as strong leadership capability. He spent 14 years at MA Financial, specialising in analysing and advising listed real estate companies as an equity research analyst and was most recently Managing Director, Head of Equities. Prior to his time at MA Financial, Ed held roles in Corporate Finance and Insolvency with EY and PPB Advisory.

Ed lived in Sydney for 10 years, and Melbourne for a year before that, relocating back to Adelaide in 2019 while commuting to Sydney to continue his work with MA Financial.

Ed has a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice, Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), and is a Chartered Accountant.  He also recently completed the AICD Director’s Course.

Outside of work, Ed and his wife Julia are kept busy with their two kids, James and Grace, as well as their growing collection of animals following a recent move to the Adelaide Hills. He is also a keen sportsman, with a love of golf, surfing, and snow skiing.
