At MRS Property, one of our Core Values is “Building a Positive Team and Family Spirit.” Each year, we celebrate another successful year in business by bringing our team together for a day of connection, growth and fun. The details are always kept under wraps, with the full experience revealed only on the day.
This year’s theme centred on Resilience, inspired by our MRS Book Club’s focus on The Resilience Project and the GEM principles – Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness.
We kicked off the day with an inspiring and high-energy presentation from Martin Heppell (he/him) of The Resilience Project, who brought GEM to life in a powerful way. From there, the team took part in interactive activities at Light Square with Kris Massie from ChiTrain, designed to strengthen teamwork and embed the GEM principles.
The afternoon took us to Vinteloper Adelaide Hills Winery, where owner David Bowley shared his story of rebuilding after the devastating 2019 fires – a remarkable example of resilience in action. We closed the day with a sunset safari at the newly opened Monarto Safari Park, followed by an 80’s dress-up themed dinner at Murray Bridge, before staying overnight at the Monarto Safari Resort.
MRS Day continues to be one of our most valued traditions – a chance to pause, celebrate and thank our team for the energy, commitment and spirit they bring to MRS Property every day.
