Johann de Beer

Johann joined MRS Property in August 2020 as Head of Property Management for the Brisbane office and has been involved in the property industry since 1978.

Prior to joining MRS, Johann spent 22 years at Colliers International in their Cape Town office initially before being transferred to their Queensland office.  During this time his roles have been focused in the retail, commercial and industrial Property Management fields and his main responsibilities have included managing relationships with key clients and tenants, overseeing service delivery and leading the Property Management team.

During his employment history, Johann has managed a portfolio of properties on behalf of a number of major clients including Abacus, 360 Capital, GDI, ISPT, Scentre Group, Fortius, Centuria, Korda Mentha and Fife.

Johann has achieved many professional accomplishments over the years including being awarded the Commercial Property Manager of the Year by REIQ and ultimately was awarded the National Award in this category by REIA.

Outside of work, Johann is a keen hobby farmer and is involved in his local community as a member of the music ministry in his local church.
