MRS Day – MRS Property held their annual MRS Day on Friday, 9 June 2017.

The purpose of the day is for all employees to get out of their comfort zones and do something together as a team.  The day is always kept secret from all employees – so everyone has to brace themselves and expect the unexpected!  This year was extra special as MRS were celebrating 15 years in business.

The day started off with us all meeting at the Adelaide Airport bright and early – at 5.10am – where we all flew to Sydney.

On our arrival at Sydney, we were picked up and taken to the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb where we spent the morning taking in the incredible panoramic views of Sydney.  At the summit we all rallied together and sang the theme song for the day – “We are the Champions”.  It really was a terrific start to the day.

On completion of the climb, we all made our way to Campbells Cove on Circular Quay where we boarded a luxurious yacht and took a cruise around the Sydney Harbour.  Whilst on board we all enjoyed a fully catered lunch along with some wines.  The afternoon soon slipped away with everyone enjoying the scenery and joining in with the sing song, which was all very amusing.

Just as the sun had set, we left the boat and checked into our accommodation for the night – the Amora Hotel Jamison – where we all freshened up, before heading out for dinner.

We were very spoilt and enjoyed a beautiful dinner at the Quay Restaurant, one of Australia’s most awarded and celebrated restaurants.  Set in the heart of Sydney Harbour, Quay has arguably the best views of any restaurant in Australia, with spectacular panoramic views taking in Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

More wine and wonderful food was enjoyed with each person sharing their most Memorable Moment since joining MRS throughout the course of the evening.  There were many heart felt times which brought us all closer together.

The following morning we all had free time before heading to the Airport around lunchtime to fly home feeling very tired, but also very appreciative to have been able to experience everything together as a team.
