WE ARE PROUD OF OUR PAST AND EXCITED BY OUR FUTURE
McIntyre Robertson & Associates Pty Ltd (MRA) was established by Andrew McIntyre and Geoff Robertson on 1 June 2002.
Having decided to continue their careers in Adelaide, and after enjoying long and successful careers with major corporate real estate firms, Andrew and Geoff’s vision for MRA was to establish a company that provided a superior level of personal service to its clients.
A conscious decision was made not to undertake traditional “agency” work but to focus on providing independent property consultancy, advisory and asset management services enabling the Company to become our clients trusted property advisor.
Our vision was to create and cultivate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and team orientated work environment where we celebrated and commiserated together and still had time to have some fun.
Paul Scarborough shared this vision and joined the Company as a Director after 18 years with Jones Lang LaSalle on 25 May 2003 and the Company was renamed McIntyre Robertson Scarborough Pty Ltd (MRS).
In August 2012, the Company was rebranded to MRS Property. The rebranding reflected the Company’s growth over 10 years and that it is now a much larger and more diverse team and our ongoing commitment to provide the very best advice and service to existing and new clients over the next 10 years. We saw this opportunity to celebrate our first 10 years in business as the ideal time to commence the next stage of our growth with a fresh face as MRS Property.
Since our inception, MRS has enjoyed exceptionally strong relationships with its clients with the majority of our work coming directly from personal referrals.
Our clients include a variety of high net worth individuals, family companies, institutions, syndicates and corporates.
In December 2013, MRS Property and Harmony Property Syndication (HPS) merged offering all existing clients access to a broader range of complementary services.
HPS was founded in 2003 by Joe Walker and along with fellow Directors, Andrew Cain and Jim Whiting, the business had grown to 16 syndicates and $180 million of Funds Under Management at the time of the merger.
The Directors of both MRS and HPS remained ensuring that the combined levels of experience and expertise covered all areas of Asset Management, Property Development, Advisory & Consultancy, Acquisitions and Investment.
At 30 June 2015, MRS Property has continued to grow and currently have 29 staff and manage almost $800 million in Assets or as Funds Under Management.
